Zusammenfassung
1. Bei 10 Patienten mit Aneurysma und Thrombose wurde die Aortenresektion durchgeführt und der entstehende Defekt durch ein Aortenhomoiotransplantat ersetzt. 2. In 7 Fällen konnte ein völlig zufriedenstellendes Resultat erzielt werden. Die 3 Todesfälle im Anschluß an die Operation waren durch Kammerflimmern in einem, durch Ruptur eines zweiten Aortenaneurysmas in einem anderen und durch akute hämatogene Pyelonephritis in einem dritten Falle verursacht. 3. Es wurde eine Methode zur Sicherung der Intima an der Übergangsstelle des intimaektomierten Gefäßaschnittes zum normalen beschrieben.
