Summary

Some batches of antilymphocytic globulin prepared from tonsil material and peripheral blood lymphocytes were shown to cause thrombocytopenia. The results of thein vitro tests are described (PAT, TEG, platelet agglutination). The kinetics of platelet sequestration were evaluated by means of Cr51 labelling. Platets were found to be sequestrated in the spleen and/or liver, respectively.
