Heparin und Prednison beim Carcinoidsyndrom

Zusammenfassung

Bei einem Fall von Carcinoidsyndrom war während kurzfristiger Behandlung mit Heparin (4×5000E intravenös täglich für 1 Woche) die Serotoninsymptomatik und die 5-HIES-Ausscheidung im Urin vermindert. Bei gleichzeitiger Gabe von Heparin (25 000 E in Depotform intramuskulär jeden 3., bzw. jeden 2. Tag) und Prednison (10 mg per os täglich) gingen während mehrwöchiger Beobachtung sowohl die klinischen Krankheitserscheinungen als auch die 5-HIES-Ausscheidung zurück. Prednison allein (30 mg/Tag oral) war ohen erkennbare Wirkung.
