Summary

The group-specific determinants of theγ-globulin groups Gm(a), Gm(b), Gm(x), and Gm(r) have been localized on the F component of normal human 7Sγ-globulins. These results are in good agreement with the available information about the inheritance of the Gm-system. The importance of the findings for the physiology and pathology of theγ-globulin system is discussed.
