Fitting thee+ee+e lineshape

Abstract

The implications of different treatments of thee+ee+e cross section in the context ofZ parameter fitting are discussed. We show that fitting with a complete description of the process might become important for an accurate determination of theZ parameters. A fitting formula describing the integrated cross section in terms of theZ parameters is presented. This formula agrees with the most accurate calculation in the Standard Model to within 1 per mil.
