Zusammenfassung
Unsere Albuminumsatzuntersuchungen mit Radiojodalbumin und der Äquilibriumzeitmethode weisen darauf hin, daß es bei Lebererkrankungen zu einer Verminderung des Abbaues und zu einer Verlangsamung des Umsatzes von Albumin kommt. Bis zu einem gewissen Schweregrad der Erkrankung scheint die Verlangsamung lediglich durch einen erniedrigten Albuminspiegel verursacht zu sein, dann jedoch dürfte zusätzlich eine Erschöpfung des Abbaumechanismus und damit eine verminderte Fähigkeit, angebotenes Albumin abzubauen, eintreten. Die Möglichkeit eines Zusammenhanges mit der Menge des vorhandenen funktionstüchtigen RES wird diskutiert.
