Abstract

A method is given for calculating the form of pole surfaces for creating a magnetic field with an azimuthal variation of given depth and with a certain law of change of the mean field intensity along the radius. Experiments are described on the modeling of a magnetic field of a 1 1/2-meter cyclotron with azimuthal variation of the magnetic field.
