Cortisolsekretion und Cortisolabbauprodukte im Urin bei Fettsüchtigen im Vergleich zu Normalpersonen

Zusammenfassung

Patienten mit Fettsucht zeigten im Vergleich zu Normalpersonen eine signifikant erhöhte Ausscheidung von freiem Cortisol sowie Tetrahydrocortisol und Tetrahydrocortison. Die Bestimmung der Sekretionsrate von Cortisol bestätigte die Annahme, daß die erhöhte Ausscheidung dieser einzelnen Cortisolmetaboliten bei den Patienten durch eine vermehrte Cortisolsekretion der Nebennierenrinde bedingt ist.
