Abstract
Rational-emotive theorists differentiate self-acceptance from self-esteem and advocate the treatment goal of enhancing self-acceptance instead of self-esteem. The present article describes a variety of group therapy techniques used to increase self-acceptance and reduce a variety of debilitative emotions.
