  1. Sublimat wurde deshalb verwandt, weil Verf. bei einer Untersuchung über Adsorption und Kolloidfällung — sie wird demnächst in den „Kolloidchemisch. Beiheften“ erscheinen gefunden hatte, daß Sublimat auffallend stark adsorbiert wird. Hieraus wurde eine Hypothese über die Geschwindigkeit der Giftwirkung entwickelt, die zu derselben Formel führte, die berelts früher und auf einem anderen Wege Wo. Ostwald (Pflüger's Archiv120, 19, 1907) aufgestellt hatte.
