Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, Division of chemical science Aims and scope

Conclusions

  1. 1.

The decomposition of ozonides of 2,2′ methylenebis-4-methyl-6-tert-butylphenyl esters of phosphorous acid esters is described by a first order equation, and the electron donor substituents decrease the stability of the ozonides.

  2. 2.

The influence of the solvent on the rate of the overall decomposition of the ozonide of phenyl 2,2′ -methylenebis-4-methyl-6-tert-butylphenyl phosphite is described according to the Koppel'-Pal'm equation.
