Die Zottentumoren des Colons

Zusammenfassung

Die Zusammenstellung von 30 Patienten, die in der Zeit von 1959 bis 1965 in der Chirurgischen Univ.-Klinik Hamburg-Eppendorf wegen eines Zottentumors des Colons operiert wurden, wird zum Anlaß genommen, über Ätiologie, Pathogenese, Altersverteilung, Therapie und Rezidivneigung der Zottentumoren des Colons zu berichten. Besonderheiten der Histologie im Hinblick auf das maligne Potential der Zottentumoren werden besprochen. Es wird ausführlich berichtet über einen Fall eines Zottentumors mit Schleimproduktion bis zu 2900 ml täglich und erheblichem Eiweiß- und Elektrolytverlust mit einer Kaliumerniedrigung im Serum bis auf 2,5 mäq/l. Überlegungen zum Mechanismus dieser pathologischen Erscheinung werden angestellt.
