Conclusions
-
1.
The performance of the massive grouting operations in the dam foundation of the al-Hadithah hydro development within the prescribed time and with a high quality was possible only thanks to maximum industrialization of industry and technology. Together with the necessary organizational and technical measures on intensifying the construction process, the use of unified schemes of equipping the grouting stretches with performance of the works from a concrete slab and from a grouting gallery was the main measure.
-
2.
The drilling and grouting equipment manufactured in the USSR showed a high operating reliability.
-
3.
The methods and technology of the grouting works used at the al-Hadithah hydro development should be recognized as the most economical from the viewpoint of the time and quality of the works and they can be recommended for use under conditions of Soviet hydrotechnical construction.
