Über den Vitamin-A-Resorptionstest nach Magenresektion vom Typ Billroth II

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über den Verlauf des Vitamin A-Resorptionstestes, welcher allgemein als Indicator für die Fettresorption gilt, bei 25 Normal-personen und bei 15 Patienten nach Magenresektion vom Typ Billroth II berichtet. Dabei gelang es, für eine zahlenmäßig relativ große Gruppe ein extrem abnormes Verhalten festzustellen. An Hand der Resorptionskurven und der Grundlagen des Vitamin A-Stoffwechsels wird der Versuch einer Interpretation unternommen. Aus den erzielten Ergebnissen werden entsprechende Schlußfolgerungen gezogen. Danach sind Operationsverfahren mit Erhaltung der Duodenalpassage, wo immer dies technisch ausführbar ist, einer direkten Verbindung des Magenstumpfes mit dem Jejunum vorzuziehen.
