Zur Problematik der Gallenwegs- und Gallenblasencarcinome

Zusammenfassung

An Hand von 81 Patienten der Chir. Univ.-Klinik Freiburg i. Br. aus den Jahren 1945–1963 wird die heutige Problematik der Carcinome der Gallenblase und der extrahepatischen Gallenwege erörtert. Nur bei einer einzigen Patientin konnte eine 9-Jahresheilung durch Cholecystektomie erzielt werden, weil das Carcinom erst als Zufallsbefund in einer Steingallenblase entdeckt wurde. Aus der erschütternd schlechten Prognose gerade dieser Carcinomform, die auch überall in der Literatur ihren Niederschlag findet, ergibt sich die immer wiederholte Forderung nach rechtzeitiger Gallenwegsrevision bei längerdauernder Gallenanamnese und bei negativem Cholecystogramm vor allem bei Patienten im mittleren Lebensalter.
