Zusammenfassung

Die O.h.p. ist ein Syndrom charakteristischer Veränderungen an den Extremitäten, das meist infolge anderer Krankheiten, unter denen die intrathorakalen Tumoren überwiegen, auftritt. Klinisches, röntgenologisches, pathologisch-anatomisches Bild, die zugrunde liegenden pathogenetischen Vorstellungen und die Bedeutung innersekretorischer, zentralnervöser und konstitutioneller Faktoren werden erörtert. Bei der bestehenden Unklarheit über die Pathogenese wird die Tatsache als aufschlußreich unterstrichen, daß die Beschwerden der O.h.p. den klinischen Zeichen eines Lungentumors erheblich vorausgehen können, und daß eine Resektion des Tumors ein schlagartiges Schwinden eines Teils der Symptome und eine allmähliche Rückbildung der Resterscheinungen mit sich bringen kann.
