Über sarkomatöse Entartungen

Zugleich Beitrag zur Frage Sarkom und Trauma

Zusammenfassung

Unter 257 Sarkompatienten, die in der Zeit von 1946 bis 1967 in der Düsseldorfer Chirurgischen Klinik behandelt wurden, konnten wir in 25 Fällen eine Malignisierung vorausgegangener entzündlicher oder anderer gutartiger krankhafter Prozesse beobachten. 15 Patienten hatten ursprünglich einen gutartigen Tumor, 5 Sarkome entstanden nach einem Trauma, ein Sarkom in einer Operationsnarbe und vier Sarkome in chronisch gereiztem Gewebe.

Die Latenzzeit betrug zwischen 11 Monaten und 19 Jahren. Von den gutartigen Bindegewebstumoren entarteten Lipome, Fibrome, Neurofibrome sowie Chondrome.
