Zusammenfassung
Von 603 präoperativ mit J 131 untersuchten thyreoidalen und parathyreoidalen Tumoren wurden 475 operiert und histologisch untersucht. In 128 Fällen—besonders toxischen Adenomen—bestätigte der Erfolg der radiologischen Therapie die Diagnose. Aus einem Vergleich der Radiojodfunktionswerte und der anatomischen Verteilung des Isotops in Tumor und Drüse mit dem operativen und histologischen Befund werden die für Cysten, autonome und nicht autonome parenchymatöse Adenome, noduläre Thyreoiditiden, Carcinome und Sarkome typischen differentialdiagnostischen Merkmale zusammengestellt und in ihrer Bedeutung für die Indikation zur Operation erörtert.
