Measurements ofg-factor in94Mo

  • Published:
Zeitschrift für Physik A Atoms and Nuclei

Abstract

The nuclearg-factor of the 8 (+)1 state in94Mo atE x=2953 keV has been measured to beg=1.317 ±0.015 with the time differential PAD technique following the92Zr(α, 2n)94Mo reaction atE α =24 MeV. This value fits fairly well with the present knowledge of magnetic moment systematics in theA≈ 90 region. An improved determination of the half life of this state has been obtained ast 1/2= 98±2 nsec.
