Abstract
The Federal Government may find itself in the position of hiring large numbers of hard-core unemployed individuals. This will entail a major crisis for agencies accustomed to traditional personnel practices. A program of mental health consultation with concerns for the individual and the social system in which he works may be of help. An example of such a program in a federal agency is described.
