Conclusions
-
1.
A reliable and simple design of a sealing ring for the delivery side of mud pumps in place of the obsolete gland was developed.
-
2.
Under high-pressure conditions (at transfer stations) and when developing new mud pumps it is recommended to use seals with two rings.
-
3.
Manufacture of the seals, including the rings, can be accomplished in workshops on simple equipment.
