Implications on the chiral quark bag from the deuteron asymptoticD-state

Abstract

Following a recent suggestion by Ericson and Rosa-Clot we discuss the implications of the asymptoticD/S ratio in the deuteron on the bag-model radiusR of the nucleon. Assuming pion nucleon form factors from the chiral bag model we find an upper limitR<0.5 fm.
