Conclusions
-
1.
For conditions of the Angara and other rivers with clean water it is advisable to use turbine bearings with water-lubricated rubberized bushings.
-
2.
The end seals eliminate shaft wear and with correct manufacture and installation operate reliably for a long time.
-
3.
A shortcoming of the turbine bearings is the absence of devices for adjusting the clearance, which complicates repair and operation.
