Conclusions

  1. 1.

Criteria of the effectiveness of groin shore protection are proposed and recommendations are given on improving the planar layout of systems of sediment-retaining groins.

  2. 2.

It was established that the use of sediment-retaining groins of an unconventional layout makes it possible to increase the sediment-retaining capacity of the system and to reduce its material intensity.
