Conclusions
-
1.
The work of the film membrane can be considered sufficiently effective.
-
2.
Increased seepage through the grout curtain in the rock walls (especially on the right one) is leading to discharge of seepage waters on the downstream shoulder of the dam. In this connection it is recommended to install drainage in the downstream slope of the dam with discharge of the water below the depth of freezing. Further on-site observations of the discharge of seepage waters and presence of piping particles in them are necessary for determining the need for reinforcing the grout curtain in the canyon walls.
