Hydrotechnical Construction Aims and scope

Conclusion

Flow constriction by combination dikes effects a significant change in the water-movement regime. Two zones of turbulent movement are formed beyond the compressed section.

Use of basic positions of the theory of turbulent jets has made it possible to develop a method of calculating the velocity field of a flow constricted by combination dikes.
