Conclusions

When designing irrigation canals, including lined ones, it is necessary to take into account the ecological requirements (mainly the unit seepage losses, rise of the water table, and degree of permeability of the watertight linings), which will make it possible to provide a high efficiency of the canals and favorable ameliorative state of the irrigated territories.
