Summary
Rate of expansion of three-phase contact perimeter at monolayers of octadecyl amine (substrate:quartz) of different numbers was investigated and the results were discussed on the basis of a theory for dimple formation. Correlations between adsorption density of surfactant at the liquid/gaseous interface, velocity of three-phase contact perimeter and induction time are presented.
