Decay of the compound nucleus204Po. excitation function measurements for the reactions164Dy(40Ar,xn)204-xPo and184W(20Ne, xn)204-xPo

Abstract

Excitation functions for the reactions184W(20Ne,xn)204-xPo and164Dy(40Ar,xn)204-xPo have been measured for 4 ⩽ x ⩽ 9. Absolute cross sections were determined for both systems and special attention was focused on the energy scale.
