Summary
The present treaties shows how by a suitable concentration and the absorption of the drop of the solution to be examined used for the test, one can attain in the tiny point of a correspondingly formed strip of filter paper an increase of spotreactions whereby in the most favourable case this can be increased a hundredfold. For this form of procedure of qualitative micro reaction the designation “acroreaction” is proposed.
In the course of testing a series of well-known reactions, it resulted that the increase of sensitiveness did not always reach this maximum value. The deviations are explained in a comprehensible way by the special conditions of the individual reactions. The increase of the proof of sensitiveness in the individual case is characterized by a factor of sensitiveness (F) which can be determined by a simple formula.
