Summary
Changes in structure of thermally dehydrated pseudoboehmite have been studied from adsorption isotherms of nitrogen at 78 K. Variations of the specific area were observed by means of theV-t and the BET methods, distributions of the pores were determined using approaches ofCranston andInkley and of de Boer. The results showed some characteristics of the system under study as well as the limitations ofde Boer's classification of hysteresis loops and of conclusions he drew about the shape of the pores.
