Summary
A simple capillary buret equipped with reservoir and semi-automatic filling is described. It may also be equipped with ion exchange columns that serve to generate standard acid or base during titration, allowing a simple potassium chloride solution to serve as the only standard solution for either acid or base titrations. The possibilities of adapting it to automatic generation of solutions other than acid or base are discussed, as well as its possible use as an automatic titrating buret.
