Summary
A consecutive series of 98 patients with intracranial aneurysms subjected to surgery with the aid of an operating microscope is presented.
Of the eighty Botterell grade 1-2-3 patients only two died, fiftysix made an excellent recovery, fifteen a good, and seven a fair recovery. The problem of Botterell grade 4–5 patients is discussed.
