Density field of a jet of viscous gas flowing from a conical nozzle into a vacuum

Abstract

An approximate dependence for calculating the density field in a jet of viscous gas flowing from a conical nozzle into a vacuum is proposed on the basis of an experimental investigation and an analysis of the results of a numerical solution of the complete system of Navier-Stokes equations.
