Summary
A case is described in which after prolonged treatment with a monoamine-oxydase inhibitor, an intracerebral haematoma developed following the ingestion of vermouth, mayonnaise and yoghurt. The literature is gone into. Because of the risk of such complications the correctitude of treatment with monoamine-oxydase inhibitors appears questionable.
