Transoccipital transtentorial approach for removal of cerebellar haemangioblastoma

Summary

Supratentorial approach through the cerebellar tentorium for removal of cerebellar haemangioblastomas located on the anterosuperior surface of the cerebellum is described. This approach with the aid of microsurgery is especially suitable for a haemangioblastoma involving the midbrain.
