Spinal cord compression caused by spinal aneurysmal bone cyst

Résumé

La découverte d'un kyste anévrismal osseux vertébral avec signes médullaires étant encore suffisamment rare pour Être publiée, les auteurs rapportent un cas avec paraplégie rapidement évolutive.

Le kyste anévrismal osseux fut traité par lammectomie et exérèse; la récupération neurologique est complète et persiste six mois après l'intervention. Les aspects pathogéniques, cliniques, radiologiques, histologiques et thérapeutiques en sont brièvement étudiés.

Summary

Spinal aneurysmal bone cyst is sufficiently rare for the authors to report this case with rapid evolution and development of paraplegia. Total removal was achieved, and clinical recovery remained complete six months after operation. The pathogenic, clinical, radiological, histological and therapeutic aspects are briefly reviewed and discussed.
