Summary
Regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) was measured in seven patients with pituitary tumours, in one patient with a craniopharyngioma, and in one patient with an empty sella; rCB was increased only in patients with gonadotrophin deficiency. The preliminary conclusion is that this is perhaps related to the pituitary tumour itself, and in particular to the endocrine state.
