Conclusions
An experimental batch of BKCh-33V articles amounting to 7.2 tons was produced for the working zones of glass furnaces. The content of carbon impurity in the experimental goods does not exceed 0.04%, which is a half of that in industrial articles.
The optimum parameters of plasma-arc melting of the batch were determined in order to produce articles with a low-carbon content. Measures are recommended for setting up the industrial production of these products.
