Zusammenfassung

Es wird bewiesen, daß bei höheren Temperaturen der Durchschlag in Glas nach der Wärmetheorie vor sich geht. Beim Übergang zu niedrigeren Temperaturen tritt bei 60 bis 100°, je nach der Art des Glases, sehr scharf ein neuer Mechanismus des Durchschlages ein, der bis zu den Zimmertemperaturen bestehen bleibt.
