On the decay of148Pm

Abstract

TheΒ-γ directional correlation between the 1,930 keVΒ-group and the 511 keV cascadeγ-ray in the 5.4 d148Pm decay has been measured at 14 differentγ-energy points. The anisotropy is found to be positive and is (4.4±0.4)% at 1,210 keV. The energies of theγ-rays depopulating the levels in148Sm have been measured using a Ge(Li) spectrometer with an accuracy of better than 1 keV. Theγ-ray intensities have been determined within 15%.
