Abstract
The time dependence of the scintillation light originating from free and lokalized excitons was analysed by a method described by Thomas and Bollinger. The results give information about the transfer of the excitation energy and show that the lifetime of lokalized excitons is reduced with decreasing temperature. This effect is compared with results which Tomura and Takahashi obtained for free excitons in anthracene crystals.
