The chemical rate equation for a magnetoactive plasma in reactive nonequilibrium

  • Published:
Zeitschrift für Physik A Hadrons and nuclei

Abstract

A statistical theory of the ionisation for magnetoactive plasma having a nonequilibrium concentration level and a nonequilibrium energy distribution is given taking in account the nonequilibrium collisional and radiative processes. The derived chemical rate equation can be employed in the presence of transient superthermal inductions even at high plasma temperature. Under a given number of conditions the ionisation may be enhanced or depressed as in the case of reactive equilibrium of magnetoactive plasma.
