The decay of65Ge

  • Published:
Zeitschrift für Physik A Hadrons and nuclei

Abstract

Energies and relative intensities of γ-rays from the decay of65Ge have been measured. The half-life was measured to be (31.2±0.7) sec. From the measured intensity of the annihilition radiation the intensity of the groundstate ß+ feeding was determined to be <10%. A total of 31 γ transitions was placed in a level scheme. The spin and parity of the groundstate of65Ge was determined to be 3/2 (5/2).
