Conclusions

Plans of new designs of drives for pulsating conveyors and tilters designed for use in automatic lines for forming the charge of refractory-part green compacts on the furnace car, unloading the charge after firing, and forming the bundles for shipping are described. The calculations made of the dynamic characteristics of these mechanisms confirm the correctness of the technical solutions adopted. From an analysis of the dynamic characteristics of the proposed mechanisms it follows that they have significant reserves for increasing the operating speed, as the result of which it is possible to increase the capacity of both the individual mechanisms described in the article and the automatic line as a whole. The design simplicity of the proposed mechanisms provides reliable operation of them under high-speed conditions and under conditions of an abrasive medium.
