Fermentative conversion of swine and poultry wastes into nitrogen-enriched feedstuffs for ruminants

Summary

Fermentative conversion of swine and poultry wastes, augmented with carbohydrate-rich agroindustrial residues, into nitrogenenriched feedstuff for ruminants is described. Fermentation methodology described is simple, efficient and inexpensive and appears to be an attractive alternative to disposal of wastes.
