Validity of the perturbative expansions in the theories of cyclotron resonance lineshape

  • Published:
Zeitschrift für Physik B Condensed Matter

Abstract

Validity of the perturbative expansions dealt with in the theories of cyclotron resonance lineshape of Kawabata, Lodder-Fujita and Choi-Chung is discussed by making use of the simple mathematical induction. The expansions are proved to be valid at the resonance peaks as well as in the wings of the absorption lines.
