Conclusions

Experiments were done to determine the main technological parameters of briqueting raw magnesite in admixture with caustic magnesite.

It was found that the strength of the briquet after shaping is directly related to the briqueting pressure and the aging time.

Experimental-industrial testing of the new technology confirmed the possibility of obtaining briquet of nonflat configuration possessing an adequate density and strength.
