Conclusions

It is shown that the brittleness values can be used to predict the features of the mechanical behavior of materials during static and thermal loadings at different temperatures. In this case, for an approximate evaluation of such features it is possible to use data from the determination of deformation diagrams at room temperature, made on a single specimen, which is particularly valuable in research studies connected with the creation of new types of ceramics and refractories.
