Zusammenfassung

An Hand von Modellversuchen wurde gezeigt, daß die Struktur und stabilisierende Wirkung von PVA-Adsorptionsschichten durch Messung der Adsorptionsschichtdicke und sterischen Behinderung charakterisiert werden kann. Es wurde gezeigt, welchen Einfluß die Moleküllänge, die Natur der dispersen Phase und die Zusammensetzung des Dispersionsmediums auf die genannten Größen ausüben.

Summary

From measurement of thickness and steric hindrance of adsorbed layers of PVA in model experiments we draw some conclusions on the structure of these layers and their influence of emulsion stability. We investigated the influence of the length of macromolecules, the nature of disperse phase and the composition of dispersion medium on these parameters.
